My Girlfriend and my random life
If any of you know her, you know she is a very kind soul. Sometime a bit too kind.
There are some things that most of you don’t know about me. He is a short list that will help you understand this story a bit better. First, when I was a kid, I grew up in Banks out in the country. Second, my brother and I were in 4-H when we were kids and showed rabbits, so I know a lot about rabbits.
Andrea loves rabbits, but they are bunnies to her. She had a little min-rex, whose name is Maxie, before we started dating. After we had been dating, we were getting our tired changed at Les Schwab and found another free rabbit in the NickleAds that Andrea thought would be a great friend for Maxie. So along came Victor, a larger grey mini lop of the un-neutered type. He likes to mount stuff, especially Maxie.
So now the story about my girlfriend and my random life begins.
Andrea took Victor into the Vet this week to get an exam to get the chop so he will quit his homosexual tendencies toward Maxie. Apparently the people at the Vet’s office don’t see rabbits very often, so everyone wanted to see him. They said he had a great healthy coat, his ears looked really clean and they deemed that Victor is the greatest rabbit ever, which means that Andrea and I are the greatest rabbit caretakers ever.
Earlier that morning the recycle guy made his weakly rounds to collect the junk at the Vet office and found a paper bag with a two month old baby rabbit in it. He bought into the Vet office…
If I have setup this story correctly, you will know, and it shouldn’t come as any surprise, that when I came home that evening from work, there was a little black ball of Netherland Dwarf bunny in a box in my living room.
